As of April 2, 2020, OriGen continues to remain open and maintain operations. We are able to sustain full operating shifts with additional steps taken to ensure physical distancing occurs. OriGen manufactures our products in Austin, TX and our facility is not affected. At this time, we have not needed to enact our business continuity plan/disaster recovery plan.
OriGen’s Management Team is actively monitoring our supply chain for any disturbances or delays and we have proactively reached out to suppliers who may be affected. We are keeping in regular contact with our suppliers to ensure that the supply chain is bolstered as much as possible. At the time of this memo, OriGen’s supply chain is not affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
In addition to monitoring our supply chain, OriGen has a contingency plan which includes, but is not limited to, an executive emergency response committee to respond immediately to information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local advisories, reinforcement of healthy workplace practices in all of our offices, increasing physical distancing in the workplace, encouraging work from home where possible, encouraging compliance to the Austin Texas Stay Home Work Safe Order, and visitors to OriGen facilities are restricted to business-critical only and tracked via questionnaire prior to their arrival.
