AUSTIN, 28 FEBRUARY 2025: OriGen Biomedical, a leading producer of cryopreservation and cell culture products, is proud to announce the launch of the OriGen Biomedical STEM Scholarship. This initiative aims to support high-achieving high school seniors in the Greater Austin area who are pursuing higher education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields.
Recognizing the critical role of innovation in solving global challenges, OriGen Biomedical is committed to fostering the next generation of STEM leaders. The $500 scholarship will provide financial assistance to an outstanding student who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership, and a passion for STEM.
Scholarship Details
- Award Amount: $500
- Application Deadline: April 30, 2025
- Eligibility: Applicants must be current high school seniors in the Greater Austin, TX area with a minimum 3.6 GPA, planning to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university for a STEM-related degree in Fall 2025.
Application Requirements
Students applying for the OriGen Biomedical STEM Scholarship can apply here and must submit:
- A completed application form
- A personal essay (750-1,200 words) on a selected STEM-related topic
- An official high school transcript
- Proof of college enrollment
A selection committee of OriGen Biomedical employees will review applications and select the recipient based on academic merit, leadership qualities, and commitment to STEM.
