As 2024 comes to an end, we’re proud to look back on a year of progress and accomplishments at OriGen. Every day, our mission to provide life-saving products for critical cell therapy drives us forward. It’s a purpose that unites and inspires our team to keep finding new ways to make a real difference for patients worldwide. In 2025, we’re excited to keep building on this momentum, focused on advancing healthcare through innovation.
This year, OriGen added 41 new hires to the team, making our headcount of full-time employees 175 as we closed out the year. Together, we’ve worked hard to meet the demands of a fast-changing industry, while ensuring a smooth transition as OriGen Biomedical® products come out of backorder and are delivered to our customers as quickly as possible. Our commitment to creating medical solutions that improve lives drives everything we do, and every employee plays a vital role in making a difference for patients around the world.
In 2024, OriGen produced about 4.55 million units and expanded our reach to 90 countries through our team and trusted distributors. We’re proud of these accomplishments, demonstrating our commitment to improving patient outcomes worldwide. We also attended five major trade shows this year, strengthening partnerships and showcasing our products. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to join even more industry events and continue collaborating with our customers and partners to push healthcare forward.
A highlight of 2024 was earning recognition as a Top Workplace by the Austin American-Statesman for the second consecutive year. This honor, based on confidential feedback from our employees through an Energage LLC survey, reflects the strong culture we’ve built together. The survey looked at key workplace elements like alignment, execution, and connection. We’re incredibly thankful for this honor and proud to create an environment where growth, collaboration, and purpose thrive. Our employees shared inspiring reasons why they love working at OriGen, and their voices continue to shape who we are as a company.
In 2024, we tackled challenges like supply chain disruptions and the need to boost production capacity head-on. Through strategic hiring, extended production hours, and investments in automation, we made big strides in cutting backorders and improving efficiency. Thanks to our team’s hard work, we’ve seen real progress in throughput times and monthly output, paving the way for even greater success in the year ahead.
