AUSTIN, DECEMBER 2024: OriGen Biomedical proudly announces that Beth San Segundo, President & CEO, was named a finalist for Phacilitate’s ‘The Women in Advanced Therapies’ Award. This award recognizes an individual or organization that has initiated a call to action to remove barriers and improve and support a diverse working culture across all levels of the Advanced Therapies sector. This award is not limited to women but includes all people who have made a significant positive impact on women’s work lives. There were eight finalists and the shortlist can be viewed here.
Initiatives could include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring equality of opportunity for all from graduate to board level
- Developing women’s leadership potential, including mentor programs, women’s networks, and return-to-work programs
- Commitment to the inclusion of gender-specific considerations (such as paternity, maternity and adoption initiatives, menopause considerations, and flexible working)
- Improvement in employee diversity over the past 24 months

The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, during Advanced Therapies Week in Dallas, Texas, at the Union Station Wolfgang Puck. The night’s itinerary includes a welcome reception with drinks, dinner, the awards ceremony, and an exciting after-party to cap off the festivities.
