At OriGen, we take great pride in providing products to customers, distributors, and end users for use in critical cell therapy processes to save lives around the world. It’s the reason we come to work every day and this shared purpose comes to life through our devoted network of OriGen colleagues. As we reflect on 2022, we’re excited for the year ahead to continue developing innovative technology leading to optimal patient outcomes.
OriGen currently has over 136 full-time employees working to complete orders and get OriGen products to our valued customers. We have been able to do this because of our strong purpose that each and everyone at OriGen takes great pride in, which is to create medical products which improve people’s lives.
OriGen was proud to celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, which is only possible thanks to our customers, partners, and dedicated employees. In conjunction with the anniversary milestone, OriGen planned an in-office event with employees to reflect on all our accomplishments, highlight plans for the future, and show appreciation for one of our most valuable assets – our people. We also published a History of OriGen post with an in-depth overview of where OriGen came from and where we’d like to go in the future.
OriGen is working diligently to recover from supply chain disruptions and current capacity constraints. This process has involved implementing a number of strategies, including active recruitment in production and overtime to increase product throughput and long-term automation initiatives to improve productivity. Our entire team is working to address these issues in both the short and long term, and we have seen increases in throughput times as well as the amount of product produced each month.
